Only in Glacier National Park! 🤩 we see a bear almost everytime we visit, it’s incredible!

Yellowstone Camp looking mighty fine 🤩 🤩 🤩

📍 @wander.camp Yellowstone is one of our favorite places because of the amazing sunsets & sunrises, the incredible wildlife (you will most likely wake up to cute cows outside your door), and because there is sooooo much to do nearby! Horseback riding, rafting, paddleboarding down the rivers, and visiting the sites in the park (grand prismatic spring is our favorite) are a few of our favorites!

Save and share!👇🏽Here are our Top 9 hikes and viewpoints in Bryce Canyon that can be seen in a ONE day…

1) Sunrise Point
2) Queens Garden Trail (1.8 miles)
3) Navajo Loop (1.5 miles)
4) Sunset Point
5) Rim Trail (.5 miles)
6) Inspiration Point
7) Bryce Point
8) Peekaboo Loop (4.8 miles)
9) Fairyland Loop Trail (8 miles)
10) BONUS… Stay with us @wander.camp Bryce Canyon less than 15 minutes away from Bryce Canyon, 20 minutes from Kodachrome, and 30 minutes from Escalante!

Detailed Itinerary: 👇🏽👇🏽

Start at Sunrise Point (to watch sunrise of course)... The Queens Garden Trail (1.8 miles) descends from Sunrise Point and is the BEST HIKE in Bryce Canyon with beautiful views in all directions! At the end of the Queen Garden Trail (1.5 miles) follow the signs for the Navajo Loop - which also has magnificent views and will bring you up to Sunset point, another view point you can’t missFrom there, hike along the stunning Rim Trail (.5 miles) back to sunrise point.

When you finish your hikes head back to your car and make the short drive to Inspiration Point, it’s worth the views! And if you want MORE views also make a stop at Bryce Point (short drive).

You can do all of this before lunch, so if you want to explore more in the afternoon we recommend hiking either Peekaboo Loop Trail leaves from Bryce Point (4.8 mile hike), or Fairyland Loop Trail that leaves from Fairyland point (8 mile hike) if you are looking for something a little more strenuous and away from the crowds!

We recommend staying at least two days in the area so you can also visit Kodachrome state park and Escalante national monument - a short drive from @wander.camp! #wanderbrycecanyon #brycecanyon

Don’t worry, we got your back! 😉 Want to visit Glacier National Park BUT didn’t snag a required vehicle reservation that sold out this week? Here are 3 WAYS you can STILL visit the park!!👇🏽

1. GET A RESERVATION 24 hrs in ADVANCE | Additional reservations are released 24 hrs in advance at 8am on the recreation.gov website, so you can log in the day before you want to visit and snag one!

2. VISIT BEFORE 6AM OR AFTER 3PM | The reservation system is only from 6am-3pm each day, which means all you have to do is go into the park before 6am (see sunrise and visit the park all day) or after 3pm (catch a hike then watch sunset) no reservation needed! @wander.camp glacier is only 10 minutes from the West entrance to make it easy for those early mornings!

3. VISIT A LOCAL BUSINESS | Here’s a local secret not a lot of people know for those who accidentally sleep in… There are a few local businesses right outside the park that have extra reservations they give out at 8am the day you want to enter the park. 😉 😉

4. BONUS | another easy way you can get into the park is by booking a rental or tour inside the park — by showing your receipt, park officials will let you inside!

Come camp with us @wander.camp and we will make sure you have the best time visiting all the places in the park you want to see, reservation or not! Happy camping!

Three Reasons Why Glamping is Better for the Environment

When traveling there are two basic options for lodging: you can either stay in a hotel or camp. Staying in a hotel is nice because you have access to a clean bathroom, a shower, and even a comfy bed, however, one major drawback to staying in a hotel is the negative impact they have on the environment. Hotels waste thousands of gallons of water each day, and to top things off they also release extravagant amounts of carbon dioxide into the environment. For an environmentally conscious traveler a hotel does not seem very appealing, leaving only one other lodging option: camping.

But what if I told you that there was another option for lodging when traveling that is the perfect medium between a hotel and camping? Have you ever heard of glamping? Glamping is cheaper than the average hotel, it is more environmentally friendly AND you get a comfy bed! Making glamping the perfect option for your next adventure.

Solar Eclipse

One of the best parts of glamping is the clear skies. Because campsites are typically located away from large cities and there is less light pollution it is the perfect place to enjoy the phenomena of the solar system.
