Hiking Queens Garden and Navajo Combination Loop
Queens Garden is one of the most well-known hikes in all of Bryce Canyon National Park. It is most famous for its iconic hoodoo, a column of weathered rock. It got its name because it is said to resemble Queen Victoria. Queens Garden is just 7 minutes from Bryce Canyon National Park and around a 25 minute drive from our Bryce Canyon Wander Camp location. The hike itself is around 3 miles and takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.
Stargazing
If you are looking for a fun night time activity, then this is for you. Bryce Canyon is a good enough distance from the city to provide an excellent view of the stars. It is highly recommended that you set aside time to see the full grandeur of the beautiful night sky.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is not faint of heart. There are many trails throughout Bryce Canyon National Park where visitors can snowshoe. These trails include Rim Trail, Bristlecone Loop, Fairyland Road, and Paria Road. To make your experience even more special you can book a full moon snowshoe hike. This would allow you to join stargazing with your snowshoeing experience.
Horseback riding
There are many vendors to choose from when it comes to horseback riding. You can book sessions that are around 2 to 3 hours long. Prices are around $100-$150 per person depending on which vendor you choose as well as your amount time booked. Some popular vendors include Canyon Trail Rides and Ruby’s Horseback Adventures.
