Whether you want an intimate wedding just between you and your significant other, or the wedding of the Century, we believe that every couple deserves an unforgettable wedding day. We know that as we wander to the natural outdoors, we find beauty that cannot be replicated. Today it is easier than ever to take the traditional wedding to the great outdoors. Come to Zion and have the wedding day that surpasses your dreams.

Where to start?

The rich array of natural colors found in Zion National Park make it the perfect place to host your wedding. Zion National Park has six designated areas for weddings within the park. In order to decide your perfect venue and wedding arrangements, we recommend you first decide who will be attending your wedding.  Oftentimes your venue will be based on the invite list and how many people are present. Would you prefer a small, intimate wedding with just your closest friends and family? Or are you expecting to bring in people from everywhere to celebrate your special day? This is a personal decision that depends on what your and your significant other want for your wedding day. Regardless of what you choose, we hope to help guide you as you plan your destination wedding in Zion.

1. Menu Falls

One of the great advantages to having a smaller wedding are the choices available for the venue. The smallest area designated for weddings within Zion is Manu Falls, which allows for a maximum of 10 guests.. A short trail will bring you and your guests to a scenic spot among rivers and waterfalls. Soft, rushing river can be heard all around, which creates a very peaceful and beautiful setting. A bridge runs over the river, providing a perfect place to say one’s vows. If your group can fit, Menu Falls will surely create a romantic and magical ambience.

2. Timber Creek Overlook

Looking for a venue for an intimate group with a breathtaking view? Timber Creek is the second smallest designated wedding area with a maximum of 20 people. This location is known for its stunning view of Zion National Park. The mountains radiate with their naturally colored rocks and array of plants that scatter throughout the park. This beautiful overlook will be a beautiful setting for your picture perfect day

3. Temple of Sinawa

Imagine your wedding in between the colorful mountains in Zion with a waterfall in the distance and a river running near by. This is the scenic paradise of the Temple of Sinawa. This venue can hold a maximum of 35 people and despite its remote location, has wheelchair accessibility. You will find luscious trees surrounding the area, and if you happen to be there in fall, the trees will have rich colors ranging from oranges to yellows. Regardless of when you plan your wedding in the Temple of Sinawa, we know its striking location will help create a day to remember for the rest of your life.

4. Nature Center North Lawn

If you have loved the sound of the past few venues but they were just a tad too small, then maybe the Nature Center North Lawn will be the perfect location for you! It’s flat, grassy land allows for more guests while still providing a stunning view of the mountains. The Mountains of Zion surround the area and display a stunning view from all angles.

5. Zion Lodge Lawn

Are you looking for that perfect mixture of a timeless outdoor wedding with the flair of a National Park? The Zion Lodge Lawn truly gives the best of both worlds. This designated wedding area has a large, green lawn with the tall, stunning mountains of Zion as the backdrop. It is located in Zion National Park and the flat lawn allows for very easy accessibility.

6. South Campground amphitheater

The sixth and largest area designated for weddings by Zion National Park is the South Campground amphitheater. While this location often supports local plays and events, it also  creates a beautiful and dynamic destination for your wedding in Zion. The wooden benches in the amphitheater limit the need for chair rentals of any kind. The venue is surrounded by the mountains and has a stunning location within the park. The charm and beauty of this venue are sure to create an unforgettable day.
